Create beautiful Blue Pottery cranes by crafting and painting intricate beads. This DIY project guides you through making, decorating, and assembling to achieve a stunning ornamental piece.

STEP 1 : Prepare the dough
  • We are going to make Blue Pottery beads to build and depict the neck and head of the cranes.
  • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener and mix well to make the dough.
STEP 2 : Make the beads
  • Take the dough, divide it into small and large parts to make beads in various shapes. Pierce holes through the beads.
  • You will need 4 to 5 Mouldit packets depending on the size of the beads.
STEP 3 : Paint the base coat
  • Paint the beads with a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Draw and paint the design
  • Draw designs on each bead inspired by Blue Pottery motifs.
  • Paint the outline of the designs with Fevicryl 3D Outliner Blue 702. Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Make the attachment
  • Take a barbecue stick and attach a large bead at the base and a round bead as the head of the crane.
  • Use some clay to make the beak of the crane, attaching it with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
  • Paint the design on the beads, replicating Blue Pottery using Fevicryl Glass Colours - Golden Yellow, Sea Blue, Ultramarine Blue, and Crystal Green. Let it dry.
  • Attach and insert all the painted beads on the stick to build the neck and head of the crane.
STEP 7 : Final look
  • Your Blue Pottery crane with the beads will look like this.
