Antique Ivory Style Jar
You Will Need:

Taking the influences of ivory carvings, comes this jar where we have adopted the same style using Mouldit and then painting them in Fevicryl shades of pastel tones.
STEP 1 : Source the base material
- Take a plain glass jar.
- We are going to decorate a jar with an ornate design using Fevicryl Mouldit.
STEP 2 : Prepare the jar base
- Cover the walls of the jar with a meshed fabric using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit
- Take Fevicryl Mouldit - resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to form an even dough.
STEP 4 : Build the clay design
- Take the dough, shape it to make an ornamental design for the jar walls, and on its lid. On the front side of the jar, create a trellis pattern, with a small oval shape (an oval frame) using clay carving tools and Fevicryl Fabric Glue for sticking.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Paint the base coat
- Take some clay to make the face of the lady. Stick the face of the lady in the center of the oval motif using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
- Leave it to dry.
- Paint the jar with the base coat of Acrylic Colour - White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Final look
- Paint the jar with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Burnt Sienna 01, Lemon Yellow 11 and White 27.
- Leave it to dry completely.
