Here is a cute summer DIY inspiration for you to do along with your little one, animals on terracotta mugs. Read more to learn the process.
STEP 1 : Source the base
- We are going to make small animal figurines on terracotta glasses.
- Take plain prewashed terracotta glasses.
STEP 2 : Sketch the animals
- Take A4 white paper to draw simple sketch to make the handles for the glasses.
STEP 3 : Mix Mouldit
- Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 4 : Mould the animals
- Take the dough, make the shape of the animal as the handle like the frogs, the giraffe, the octopus, the cat using clay carving tools and Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.

STEP 5 : Painting and finishing
- Paint the handles, the glasses with few motifs painted on the background like the water bubbles, the trees, the grass, the branches, the fish aesthetically using Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17, Ultramarine Blue 23, Violet 25, Yellow Ochre 26, White 27 and Greenery 67.
