You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Light Green 12, Prussian Blue 19, White 27, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Wooden Jewellery Box, Pencil, Clay Carving Tools, Colour Palette, Water Container

Description :

Any addition to a collection of already existing pretty boxes is always welcome, Ain’t it ladies? Here is another inspiration wherein a simple box has been transformed into something so gorgeous.

STEP 1 : Source the base

Take a plain wooden box.

STEP 2 : Paint the base

Paint the box with the base coat of dark blue made by mixing Acrylic Colour Black 02 and Prussian Blue 19.
Let it dry.

STEP 3 : Paint the first layer of leaves

Draw and paint the leaves with a mix of Acrylic Colour Prussian Blue 19 and White 27.
Let it dry.

STEP 4 : Paint a layer of leaves and flowers on top

Similarly paint few more leaves in layers with small shoe flowers using Acrylic Colour Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Light Green 12 and White 27.
Let it dry completely.

STEP 5 : Mix Mouldit

We are going to make the handle and the brackets with Mouldit.
Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

STEP 6 : Make handles and brackets for the box

Take the dough, roll it to make the thick coil for the handle with the holder, the ornamental brackets for each corner of the box with the help of the clay carving tools and Fabric Glue for sticking.
Let it dry.

STEP 7 : Finishing

Paint the handle with the holder, the ornamental brackets with the antique gold brass metal using Acrylic Colour Black 02 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
Let it dry completely.
