You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Light Green 06, Orange 17, White 27, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Rolling Pin, Paper Cutter, Clay Modelling Tools, A3 White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Old Melamine/Terracotta/ Ceramic Plate, Talcum Powder, Metal Hook, Colour Palette, Water Container.

This house number plate is a vibrant work of art, crafted with colorful clay tiles arranged in a stunning mosaic pattern. The numbers are prominently displayed, adding a unique and eye-catching touch to your home.

STEP 1 : Prepare the base of the plate
  • We are going to make the mosaic number plate using Fevicryl Mouldit and Fevicryl Acrylic Colours.
  • We have taken old terracotta plate for the same.
  • Paint the base coat with Fevicryl Acrylic White Colour by adding talcum powder to it.
  • Let it dry, refer to the image.
STEP 2 : Draw and trace the design
  • Take A3 white paper draw the mosaic design in the number of your house on it.
  • Trace the same design on the plate with yellow carbon paper.
  • Refer to the image.
STEP 3 : Prepare the clay
  • Take the Fevicryl Mouldit resin and hardener, mix well to make the dough even.
  • Take Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Dark Green 06, add the colour to the dough. Refer to the image.
STEP 4 : Make the mosaic design
  • Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thin slab with rolling pin.
  • Cut the mosaic pieces approximately 1cm x 1cm in size.
  • Stick the mosaic pieces by following the design using Fevicryl Fabric Glue.
  • Refer to the image.
STEP 5 : Final look
  • Similarly make the dough from other colours and complete the mosaic design.
  • Your Mosaic number plate will look like this.
