Marble Coasters

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl 3 D Outliner Pearl White 301, Fevicryl 3 D Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours Kit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, 4” X 4” Marble Coasters, Pencil, Ornamental Stones (White, Orange, Green), Colour Palette, Water Container.

How gorgeous are these coasters! They have been made on waste pieces of marble using Fevicryl products and look how they have been transformed.
STEP 1 : Drawing motifs
• We are going to paint the traditional motifs from Rajasthan on the marble coasters. This artwork depicts majestic ornamental floral motifs in vivid colors and intricate details from Jaipur. • Take the marble coasters. Cleaning them thoroughly. • Draw traditional motifs on it. We have taken two floral and one jewellery motifs.
STEP 2 : Outlining
• Take one of the coasters. Outline and filled up the motif using Fabric Glue. • Leave it to dry completely for at least 24 hours.
STEP 3 : Painting the motif.
• Paint the motif using Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352. • Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Filling the colours
• After drying paint the motif and the background with Water Based Glass Colours Tomato Red 851 and Crystal Green 854. Let it dry. • Decorate the motifs by embedding the White Ornamental Stones using 3 D Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry. • Enhance the background by making swirls using 3 D Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352. • Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 5 : Paint the set
• Similarly paint the other two coasters using Water Based Glass Colours Tomato Red 851, Crystal Green 854, 3 D Outliner Pearl White 301 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352. • Decorate the motifs by embedding the White, Orange, Green Ornamental Stones using 3 D Outliner Pearl Metallic Gold 352. • Let it dry.
