You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Sky Blue 63, Neon Yellow 011, Neon Green 012, Neon Pink 018, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Used Bottles and Lids of Fevicryl Range of Products, Rolling Pin, Pencil, Paper Cutter, Wooden Beads, Cobbler Thread, Scissors, Wooden Block, Colour Palette, Water Container

Description :

Make this tray of cute Holi miniatures for gifting. These are made with empty bottles and Fevicryl Mouldit and can double as a cute Holi décor accent too.

STEP 1 : Collect the bases

• We are going to make the Holi miniatures using the waste Fevicryl Colour bottles, the lid of the bottle, the Fevicol bottle to make holi colour bowls, pichkari, dhol and glasses of thandai. • We are using Fevicryl Colour bottle to make the Dhol, the used Fevicol Bottle for Pichkari, the small lids from the 3 D Outliners bottle to make the glasses of thandai, the lids of 100ml bottles for the bowls of colours.

STEP 2 : Mix Mouldit

• We will cover the lids and the bottles with Mouldit. • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

STEP 3 : Roll Mouldit

• Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thin slab with rolling pin.

STEP 4 : Making the miniatures

• Mark and cut the slab to cover the lids and the bottles using Fabric Glue for sticking. • Let it dry. • Take the tissue paper and make a mountain of gulal or colour powder on the lid by sticking it using Fabric Glue. • Let it dry. • Refer to the image.

STEP 5 : Paint them

• Paint the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. • Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Paint the elements

• Take cobbler thread and wooden beads to stick on the Dhol to depict the leather cord around the dhol using Fabric Glue. • Let it dry. • Paint the Holi miniatures using Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Sky Blue 63, Neon Yellow 011, Neon Green 012 And Neon Pink 018. • Let it dry completely.

STEP 7 : Assembly

• Take the wooden plank /block measuring approximately 4” x 8” in size. • Paint the block with pastel shade of pink using Acrylic Colour White 27 and Neon Pink 018. • Let it dry. • Stick the Holi motifs on the Block aesthetically with Fabric Glue. • Let it dry.
