You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicol MR, Fine Art Brushes, Terracotta Plates, Soft Plastic, Masking Tape, Scissors, Clay Modelling Tools, Colour Palette, Water Container.

This playful photo frame is a delightful piece of handcrafted art, shaped like a donut and adorned with colorful sprinkles. The frame is made of clay, adding a rustic and tactile element to its design. The donut shape adds a playful touch, making it a perfect addition to a child's bedroom. The frame's vibrant colors and playful design bring a sense of joy and whimsy to any space.

STEP 1 : Procure the base & draw design
  • We are going to make the terracotta plates with different textures along with the warli figures using White cement & Mouldit.
  • Take terracotta plates, draw the design inspired from the Warli art on it.

 

STEP 2 : Create the texture
  • Take soft plastic and masking tape to make the cone.
  • Fill up the cone with the mixture of White cement and Fevicol MR.
  • Follow the design with different textures using the cement mixture.
  • Let it dry.
  • Refer to the image.
STEP 3 : Prepare the clay & create figures
  • We are making the warli figures with Mouldit.
  • Take Mouldit resin and hardener, mix well to make dough even.
  • Take the dough, roll it to make medium thin slab, mark and cut warli figures from the slab.
  •  Stick the Warli figures appropriately on the plate with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Finishing touches & Final look
  • Paint the figures with Acrylic Colour White 27.
  • Let it dry.
  • Your texture plates with Warli figures are ready.
