This beautiful kitsch art is endemic to South Asian countries. Paint this art on your ceramic plates to bring about a nuanced look to your décor.
STEP 1 : Source the base
- We are going to paint the plates with truck art design using pearl colours.
- Take A3 white papers, draw two different designs from the truck art in the size of the plates on it.
- Take the ceramic plate measuring approximately 8” diameter.
STEP 2 : Paint the base
- Paint the plate with Acrylic Colour Pearl Lemon Yellow 302 and Blue 305.
- Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Transfer the design
- Trace the design of the birds on it with white carbon paper with light hand.
STEP 4 : Paint the design
- Paint the design of the birds, the flowers in one stroke painting technique in shading manner using Pearl Green 304, Pearl Pink 303, Pearl White 301, Pearl Black 306 and Pearl Cherry Red 316.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Make a few more
- Similarly make the other plates with another design using Acrylic Colour Pearl Pearl Lemon Yellow 302, Pearl Green 304, Pearl Pink 303, Pearl White 301, Pearl Black 306, Pearl Blue 305, Pearl Cherry Red 316 And Pearl Lilac 307.
- Leave it to dry.
- Refer to the image.
- Attach the metal hook from the rear side further to dangle it on the wall.
