You Will Need:

Fevicryl 3D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter Silver 402, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colour Kit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fevicol MR, Fine Art Canvas Sheet, Colourful Kite Papers, Silver Ribbon, Scissors, Pencil, Ruler, Half Cut Pearls.

It is almost time for Sankranti and it’s time for festivities to begin. In India colourful torans form a part of every happy occasion. Here is a new project to make lovely buntings using glass colours. This toran is a great and innovative sankranti decoration idea that you can customise and personalise as per your choice. It is also a very good handmade gift that you can suprise your close friends and relatives with.
STEP 1
Take fine art canvas sheet. Draw about 7 equilateral triangles measuring 4” in size. Outline each triangle with 3 D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter Silver 402.
STEP 2
Paint the triangles with water based glass colours of your choice. Leave it to dry.
STEP 3
Take colourful kite papers. Cut along the circles measuring 4”, 3” and 2” diameter from all the colours to make the layered flowers. Stick the layers appropriately with Fevicol MR. Let it dry. After drying crush the flowers slightly to give a realistic look. Outline each layer with 3 D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter Silver 402. Enhance the centre of each flower by sticking half cut pearl using fabric glue. Let it dry.
STEP 4
Take silver coloured ribbon. Stick the painted triangles and the flowers aesthetically using fabric glue. Complete your makar sankranti decorations by making this beautiful and vibrantly coloured toran painted with glass colours. Use different colour combinations and permutations to suit your home décor and choice.
