Toran With Cd And Peacock Feather
You Will Need:
Fevicryl 3D Cone Outliner Non Sticky Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours Kit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Ornamental Stones (White Coloured Tear Drop Shaped), Recycled Cd, Peacock Feathers, Golden Coloured Ribbon, Golden Coloured Ghungroo, Scissors, White Pencil.
Description :
It is the time for festivities and it starts with decorating the space around us. Make this best out of waste Toran for Janamasthmi using CDs and Peacock Feathers and decorate the doorways.
STEP 1
Take plain used CDs to make the toran for the festival of Janmashtami.
Draw an eye pattern from peacock feather in circular manner on the CD with white pencil.
STEP 2
Paint the outline of the eye using 3 D Cone Outliner Non Sticky Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
Leave it to dry completely.
Make about 5 such CDs for toran.
STEP 3
Paint the design with water based Glass Colours Golden Yellow 852, Crystal Green 854, Ultramarine Blue 859 and Orange 860.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 4
Enhance the centre of the CD by sticking small sized tear drop shaped white coloured ornamental stones with Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.
STEP 5
Stick the real peacock feather from the rear side of the CD with Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 6
Stick the CD with feather on the golden coloured lace with Fabric Glue.
Let it dry.
Stitch the ghungroo with needle and thread in between the CDs neatly.
