You Will Need:

Gift happiness and light this festive season with these amazing tea – light boxes. Made with Fevicryl Mouldit these boxes will be a perfect gifting option too.

STEP 1 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit

We are going to make the tealite box for gifting using Mouldit.
Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

STEP 2 : Make the panels

Take the dough, roll it to make the medium thick slab with rolling pin.
Mark and cut 4 triangles from the slab, you have to make two boxes so you will need 8 triangles for the same.
Pierce the holes on the top side of 6 triangle further to pass the thread through.
Let the clay triangles try completely.
Take A4 white paper, draw the triangular design on it in the size of the slab on it.
Trace the same design on 6 triangles on the front side and on the black side also.

STEP 3 : Panels with the design

All the triangles after tracing the design will look like this.

STEP 4 : Paint them.

Paint the design with Acrylic Colours- Chrome Yellow 03, Dark Green 06, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Coral Red 66, Greenery 67, Neon Yellow 011, Neon Green 012, Neon Orange 017 and Neon Pink 018.
Let it dry completely.

STEP 5 : Assembly.

Paint the outline of the design with Pearl Metallic Gold 352.
Let it dry.
Take the paper canvas (buckram), mark and cut the broad strip out of it.
Stick the paper canvas strip on the two triangles to make them joint using Fabric Glue. This will work as the hinges of the door or window.
Let it dry.
Refer to the image.

STEP 6 : Paint the pattern on the paper canvas

Paint the similar pattern as of like the base on the paper canvas using the same Acrylic Colours.
Let it dry.

STEP 7 : Attach the cords

Attach the colourful and golden cord along with the readymade tassels and the beads to shut the sides of the box.
You can put the tealite inside the box to gift it to someone on the occasion of Diwali.

STEP 8 : Open it and use it as rangoli too

You can use this box as rangoli design also when you will keep it open with tealite.
Your tealite box for gifting is ready.
