You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Brown 05, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, Orange 17, White 27, Sky Blue 63, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Paper Cutter, Rolling Pin, Clay Carving Tools, Pencil, Jute Yarn, Scissors, Colour Palette, Water Container.

How cute are these mini wreaths made for Christmas! Christmas wreaths are a loved tradition and are harbinger of good fortune and health. Make your own in a jiffy this time with this easy peasy Christmas DIY wreath.

STEP 1 : Mix Mouldit

• We are going to make the decorative small wreath with Mouldit motifs like snowman, cat, bird, gloves, hollies. • Take the Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

STEP 2 : Making clay wreaths

• Take the dough; roll it to make the coils out of it. Let it get semi dry. • Take any plastic bowl or bottle. • Place the coils around the bottle to give the shape of the wreath depicting a dry woody vine of the creeper. Let it dry completely. • Make three such wreaths of coils.

STEP 3 : Painting the wreaths

• Take some clay to make the hollies (cherry and leaves) out of it. • Stick the hollies on the wreath appropriately with Fabric Glue. Let it dry. • Paint the wreath with hollies with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Dark Brown 05, Dark Green 06 and Light Green 12. • Leave it to dry completely.

STEP 4 : Making Mouldit Slab

• Take some Mouldit dough; roll it to make a medium thin slab with rolling pin. • Let it get semi dry.

STEP 5 : Making a clay cat

• Mark and cut the shape of the cat out of it. • Make the facial details with clay carving tools. • Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Making Christmas clay motifs

• Similarly make the other motifs like snowman, bird and gloves out of the slab. Let it dry completely. • Paint the motifs with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Orange 17, White 27 and Sky Blue 63. • Let it dry. • Refer to the image.

STEP 7 : Assembly

• Take the painted wreath, the glove and the painted cat. Stick the cat aesthetically on the wreath and the glove on the top of the wreath using Fabric Glue. Leave it to dry. • Take the jute yarn tie it on the wreath further to dangle it for decoration.

STEP 8 : Make some more

• Similarly make the other two wreaths with snowman and bird using Fabric Glue for sticking. • Refer to the image.
