Pooja Thali With Glass Colours

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour White 27, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Glitter Gold 401, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours Kit, Fevicol MR, Fine Art Brushes, Aluminum Plate (10” Diameter), Plain Tissue Papers, A3 White Paper, Black Carbon Paper, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Description :
When the Pooja is special the thali also needs to be extra special. This festive season make this lovely Pooja thali with Fevicryl Glass colours.

STEP 1 : Source the base
• Take plain Aluminum plate measuring 10” diameter in size.
STEP 2 : Preparing the base
• Cover the plate with plain tissue paper using Fevicol MR. • Let it dry completely.
STEP 3 : Painting the base
• Paint the plate with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. • Leave it to dry.
STEP 4 : Drawing the design
• Take an A3 white paper; draw an ornamental design along with the elephants in the size of the plate on it. • Trace the same design on the plate with a black carbon paper.
STEP 5 : Outlining the design
• Paint the outline of the design with 3D Outliner Glitter Gold 401. • Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Filling the colours
• Paint the design with Water Based Glass Colours Tomato Red 851, Golden Yellow 852, Sea Blue 853, Crystal Green 854, Brown 855, Pink 856, White 858, Ultramarine Blue 859 and Orange 860. • Create different shade by inter mixing the two colours. • Let it dry completely. • Similarly create the border design on the plate using 3D Outliner Glitter Gold 401. • Let it dry.
STEP 7 : Finishing
• Your pooja thali will look like this.
