Pichkari Pendant
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, Mauve 15, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Sky Blue 63, Neon Pink 018, Neon Yellow 011, Neon Green 012, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Rolling Pin, Paper Cutter, Clay Carving Tools, Pencil, Blue Colour Thread, Colour Palette, Water Container
Description :
This is a super cute Holi DIY! What do we love the best in the colourful festival of Holi, the water-guns or pichkaris full of colours! Replicate this in form of a pendant and be holi ready.
STEP 1 : Mixing Fevicryl Mouldit
• We are going to make a pendant for the festival of colours Holi with the pichkari and the bucket full of coloured water using Mouldit.
• Take the Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Roll the slab
• Take the dough, shape it to make the medium thick slab with rolling pin.
• Let it get semi dry.
STEP 3 : Make the pichkari and bucket
• Draw and make the shape it to make the shape of the bucket and the Pichkari with the clay.
• Give the dimension to the bucket from the front side.
• Pierce the hole towards the top of the bucket pendant.
• Refer to the image.
• Let it dry completely.
STEP 4 : Paint the base coat
• Paint the bucket and the pichkari with the base coat of acrylic Colour White 27.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 5 : Colouring and assembly
• Assemble the pichkari and the bucket using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
• Draw and paint the patterns of the bucket and the pichkari using Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09, Mauve 15, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Sky Blue 63, Neon Pink 018 , Neon Yellow 011 and Neon Green 012.
• Leave it to dry completely.
• Attach the colour thread to the pendant to make it usable.
• Refer to the image.
