How lovely are these painted papers with Vishnu Avatars on them! These beautiful papers can be framed to adorned that special corner of your living space.

STEP 1 : Make the design

We are going to paint the old stamp papers of Sawai Jaipur with 2 Vishnu avatars on thick card paper using Acrylic Colours.
Take A3 white papers.
Draw the 2 Vishnu avatars the Matsya and Varaha with the old stamp of the Jaipur State on it.

STEP 2 : Prepare the base

Take the thick GSM card paper.
We are going to paint the tea wash on the paper to give the old antique look of the stamp papers.
Paint the card paper with the Tea wash by adding little amount of Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01.
You will have to apply two coats of tea wash on the paper to get the old effect.
Let it dry.

STEP 3 : Transfer the design

Trace one of the Vishnu avatar on the painted paper using yellow carbon paper.
We have traced the Varaha Avatar on the paper.

STEP 4 : Paint the design

We are going the depict the story of Varaha in the details in painting.
Paint the light wash to with Acrylic Colours to define the facial; details, the garments, the ayudha (weapons), the planet earth which he had lifted on his tusks using Acrylic Colour Black 02, White 27, Prussian Blue 19 and Golden Yellow 09.
Paint the stamp with Acrylic Colour Black 02 and Burnt Sienna 01.
Let it dry.

STEP 5 : Finishing

Paint the second coat for further enhancement using Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Golden Yellow 09, Prussian Blue 19, Violet 25, White 27, Leaf Green 62 and Coral Red 66.
Let it dry.

STEP 6 : Make another one

Similarly draw and paint the Matsya Avatar on another paper using Acrylic Colours Teal Blue 68, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Black 02, Burnt Sienna 01, Dark Brown 05, Crimson 04, Golden Yellow 09 And Leaf Green 62.

STEP 7 : Final look

Your both paintings will look like this.
You can make the beautiful frames for these lovely paintings.
