Mouldit Elephants Wall Decor

STEP 1 : Mixing Mouldit
• We are going to make the wall décor with Mouldit elephants on the wooden plank.
• Take the Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Roll the dough
• Take the dough; roll it to make the medium thick slab with rolling pin.
• Let the slab get semi dry.
STEP 3 : Making the elephants
• Mark and cut the small and medium size different pose elephants with the help of the paper cutter. Mould them slightly using clay modelling tools.
• Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Painting the elephants
• Paint the elephants in pastel shades of pink, yellow and violet and the clay logs with Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Brown 05, Violet 25, White 27 and Neon Pink 018.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 5 : Making the logs
• Take some clay to make the log out of the clay, create the wooden texture on the log with clay carving tools. Let it get semi dry.
• Paint the logs with the shade of the brown using Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01 and Dark Brown 05.
• Let it dry.
STEP 6 : Keep the planks ready
• Take the wooden planks measuring 4” x 12” in size.
• Pierce the holes on 4 corners on the plank.
• Refer to image.
STEP 7 : Paint the planks
• Paint the plank with Sky Blue 63 and White 27.
• Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Sticking the elephants
• Stick the painted elephants and the clay logs on each plank with a little amount of clay and Fabric Glue.
• Leave it to dry.
STEP 9 : Assembly
• Take some clay to make the beads out of it. Pierce the holes to the beads.
• Let the beads dry completely.
• Paint the beads with Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Light Green 12, Pink 18 and Violet 25.
• Let it dry,
• Take the jute yarn and the painted beads, attach the jute and bead string to the plank neatly.
