Take a plank measuring 8” x 16” in size. Stick newspaper to cover the plank using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. We are going to create a linear painting of London city on the newspaper and make a typewriter using Fevicryl Mouldit.

Draw and paint the city scape of London with famous things like the red telephone booth and famous monument of Big ben on it using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04 and Maroon 14. Let it dry. To get an old rustic look use tea bag dilute and paint the newspaper to acquire a vintage look, let it dry.

Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix well to make even dough. Take the dough, roll it to make a thin slab with rolling pin. Mark and cut the shape of the typewriter using clay carving tools. Let it dry.

Paint the typewriter with Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Maroon 14 and White 27. Let it dry. Paint the attachments of the typewriter like the handle and pins with Pearl Metallic Silver 351. Let it dry.

Stick the typewriter appropriately on the plank with a little amount of clay and Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Paint the final touches with Acrylic Colours Black 02 and Chrome Yellow 03. Take the piece of newspaper, write the message” Create your own story” with Acrylic Colour Black 02. Let it dry. Stick the paper on the feed roller part on the typewriter with Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry. Your mixed media plank is ready.
