You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Light Green 12, Orange 17, Prussian Blue 19, White 27, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fine Art Brushes, Rolling Pin, A4 White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Paper Cutter, Metal Spring, Colour Palette, Water Container.

How cute is this paper weight made with Fevicryl Mouldit! Make it and flaunt it on your table this Independence Day.

STEP 1 : Mixing Mouldit
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Trace the design
• Take the dough; roll it to make the medium thick slab with rolling pin. • Leave it till semi dry. • Take an A4 white paper; draw the outline of India’s map on it. • Trace the same on the clay slab with a yellow carbon paper.
STEP 3 : Cut along the outline
• Cut along the outline of the map neatly with a paper cutter. • Pierce the hole towards the bottom side of the map further to attach a metal spring. • Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Painting the base of the map
• Paint the map with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27. • Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Painting tricolor on the map
• Paint the map of India in Tricolor using Acrylic Colours Light Green 12, Orange 17 and White 27. • Leave it to dry.
STEP 6 : Painting Typography
• Write and paint “India” in the centre of the map along with tiny heart with Acrylic colour Prussian Blue 19. • Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 7 : Assembly and finishing
• Take some dough to make the base of the paper weight, where we will attach the metal spring. • Attach the metal spring after the clay base is semi dry. • Let it dry completely. • Paint the base with Acrylic Colour White 27, let it dry. • Attach the clay slab map to the spring carefully. • Your paper weight with map on the spring will look like this.
