Craft a beautiful bookmark inspired by the traditional Kerala Kamal (lotus) Mural art. This project uses Fevicryl Mouldit to create a durable base and vibrant acrylic colors to bring the intricate design to life, perfect for art enthusiasts.
STEP 1 : Prepare Clay Base & Trace Design
- Take Fevicryl Mouldit. Mix the resin and hardener in equal quantities to create an even dough.
- Roll this dough into a flat slab and use a pen or rolling pin to ensure its smooth and flat.
- On a tracing paper, draw your desired Kerala Kamal Mural design with a pencil.
- Carefully trace this design onto the flattened Mouldit slab.
STEP 2 : Paint Mural Design
- Using fine art brushes and the Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Cerulean Blue, Pink, White, Dark Brown, Burnt Sienna, Light Green, Dark Green, Prussian Blue, White and Black and paint the traced mural design.
- Utilize different colors from the pack to fill in the intricate details and bring the traditional art to life.
STEP 3 : Final Look
