You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Neon Pink 018, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Mount Board, A4 White Papers, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container, Paper Cutter, Scissors, Thick Golden Thread, Plastic Beads ( Pink, Metallic Blue).

STEP 1 : Make lotus cutouts

• We are going to make the lotus flower back drop decoration for Ganesh Festival. • Take an A4 white paper; draw a lotus flower with cut work petal design on it. • Cut along the outlines of the lotus flower with a paper cutter. • Make about 6 big, 3 medium and 3 small, lotus flowers for the back drop.

STEP 2 : Cutting the inner part

• Cut the inner part of the lotus flower with paper cutter. • Refer to the image.

STEP 3 : Cutting and painting the background

• Take the mount board. • Draw a similar outline of the lotus on it with three different shapes. • Paint the lotuses with Acrylic Colour Neon Pink 018. • Let it dry.

STEP 4 : Assembly of the flowers

• Take the cutwork lotus flower and paint it with Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352. Let it dry. • Paint all the flowers in a similar shade of the colour. • Stick the pink flower cut outs from the rear of the cutwork flower using Fabric Glue. • Let it dry.

STEP 5 : Dangling the flowers

• Take the thick golden thread, Pink, Metallic Blue plastic beads to make bead strand. • Take the lotus flower, pierce the holes at both ends of the flower and attach the bead strand to it.

• Your eco friendly lotus back drop is ready for Ganesh Festival
