You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Violet 25, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Silver 351, Gold 352, Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Sparkling Pearl Gold 912, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, MDF Rangoli Cutout, Half Cut Pearls, Rolling Pin, Paper Cutter, Pencil, A4 White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Colour Palette, Water Container.

Description :
Make this lovely Lakshmi Ganesha décor on the occasion of Deepawali and decorate that focal corner of your living room. Read more to learn how we made these using Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and Fevicryl Mouldit.

STEP 1 : Mix Mouldit
• Take Mouldit resin base and hardener; mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Rolling the dough
• Take the dough; roll it to make the medium thin slab with rolling pin. Let it get semi dry.
STEP 3 : Drawing and tracing the design
• Take an A4 white paper; draw Laxmi and Ganesha on it. • Trace the outline of the Laxmi on the slab with a carbon paper.
STEP 4 : Cutting along the outline
• Cut along the outline of the figure of goddess Laxmi with a paper cutter. • Refer to the image.
STEP 5 : Making Ganesha cut out
• Similarly trace the outline of Lord Ganesha on another slab. • Cut along the outlines neatly with a paper cutter. • Refer to the image.
STEP 6 : Painting the cutouts
• Paint lord Ganesha and the goddess Laxmi cutouts using Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Violet 25, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Pearl Metallic Silver 351 and Gold 352. • Let them dry. • Enhance the jewellery of the gods with Acrylic Colour Sparkling Pearl Gold 912. • Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 7 : Preparing the base
• Take an MDF Rangoli cutout. • Paint the cut out with a base coat of Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352. • Let it dry. • Stick the painted Mouldit cutout of the Goddess in the centre of the base using Fabric Glue. • Let it dry.
STEP 8 : Enhancing the base
• Enhance the MDF base around Goddess Laxmi and Lord Ganesha by sticking half cut pearls along the border using Fabric Glue. • Leave it to dry completely.
STEP 9 : Finishing
• Paint small lotus flowers in the hand of Goddess Laxmi’s with Acrylic Colours Light Green 12 and Deep Brilliant Purple 64. • Let it dry. • Your Laxmi- Ganesha Décor is ready for the Festival of Lights.
