STEP 1 : Paint the base.
- We are going to paint the canvas with the silhouette figure of Krishna on shading effect background with dotillism technique.
- Take 12” x 12” size fine art canvas board.
- Divide the canvas in the centre.
- Paint the canvas with the shades of warm colour and cool colour in radiating manner using Acrylic Colours Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Orange 17, Prussian Blue, White 27 Cerulean Blue and Sky Blue 63.
- Let it dry.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 2 : Draw and paint the silhouette
- Draw the silhouette of Krishna with the pots of the butter in the centre of the canvas.
- Paint the silhouette with Acrylic Colour Black 02.
- Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Draw the mandala around the silhouette
- Draw simple circles in light manner around Krishna figure.
- Start painting the design of dots with dotillism tools or the rear side of the brush using Acrylic colours Acrylic Colours Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11, Maroon 14, Orange 17, Prussian Blue, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27 Cerulean Blue, Sky Blue 63 with light and dark shades according to the shade of the background effect.
- Leave it to dry completely.
