STEP 1 : Mix Fevicryl Mouldit
- We are going to make the wall décor using Kathputali as the theme.
- Take the Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Roll the dough
- Take the dough, roll it to make a medium thin slab with a rolling pin.
- Let it get semi dry.
STEP 3 : Draw and cut the figures
- Draw and cut the outline of the man and women Kathputali figures and few beads out of it.
- Refer to the image.
- Pierce the holes on the kathputali and the beads with clay carving tools.
STEP 4 : Make slabs and arrows
- Take the slab and cut 4 small slabs measuring 1” x 3 ½” size and 2 small size arrow shapes out of the slab.
- Pierce the holes to the slab with clay carving tools.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 5 : Final cutouts
- Your clay cutouts and the slab with beads will look like this.
STEP 6 : Paint the figures
- Paint the figures with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Bark Brown 05, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, Orange 17, Ultramarine Blue 23, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Cerulean Blue 32 and Deep Brilliant Purple 64.
- Let it dry.
STEP 7 : Assembly and Finishing
- Paint the small slabs with the quotes like “adventure awaits, lets travel, wanderlust, way to go”, the small arrows and beads with Acrylic Colours Black 02, Crimson 04, Lemon Yellow 11 and Ultramarine Blue 23.
- Let it dry.
- Take a broad candy stick. Mark and cut in the shape of the arrow.
- Paint milestone figures 100kms and 200kms on it using Acrylic Colours Black 02 and Lemon Yellow 11.
- Let it dry.
- Arrange sticks, the kathputali dolls, the quote slabs, the milestone effect arrows, pom- poms and beds together using blue colour wool.
