Diwali Card

You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Brown 05, Golden Yellow 09, Orange 17, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Cerulean Blue 32, Leaf Green 62, Deep Brilliant Purple 64, Fevicryl 3D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter - Zardozi Gold 508, Fine Art Brushes, Fevicol MR, Colour Palette, Water Container, Pencil, Ruler, A4 Sized White Card Paper, A3 Sized Orange Card Paper, A4 Sized White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Paper Cutter, Scissors.

Description :
A handmade card on festive occasions is a great way to make for close friends and relatives. It will always be appreciated as it can always be customised and personalised to each ones taste. Card making has been in vogue ever since and has always been popular to attempt and make.
STEP 1
Take an A4 sized white paper, draw Goddess Laxmi and Lord Ganesha on it. Take an A4 sized white card paper, fold the paper in the centre. Trace the God and the Goddess on one side of the folded paper along with an ½” attached slit. Refer to the image.
STEP 2
Paint them with Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Brown 05, Golden Yellow 09, Orange 17, White 27, Flesh Tint 30, Cerulean Blue 32, Leaf Green 62 and Deep Brilliant Purple 64. Paint the crown, the jewellery and the outline them by leaving a 1cm. border around the figures using 3D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter - Zardozi Gold 508. Let it dry.
STEP 3
Cut along the outlines as well as till the ½” slit neatly with a paper cutter or a pair of the scissors. Refer to the attached image.
STEP 4
Decoratively paint the message for the festival of lights “ HAPPY DIWALI” along with the floral design below the cutouts of the figures using 3D Outliner Non Sticky Glitter - Zardozi Gold 508. Let it dry.
STEP 5
Take an A3 sized orange card paper, fold it in the centre neatly. Stick the white card on the orange card paper neatly with Fevicol MR, leaving the painted figures and slits. Leave it to dry. Use this technique of card making for Diwali with any God / Goddess you worship. You could make many such cards and convey your heart felt wishes to close friends and family.
