STEP 1 : Making the design
• We are going to make a table cloth with cutwork design. • Take awhite paper; draw a bunch of roses with leaves on it. • Take 1 meter of polycot fabric; draw a big oval in the centre of the fabric with tailoring chalk. • Trace the design of the roses and leaves around the oval with a yellow carbon paper.
STEP 2 : Outlining and doing cut work
• Paint the outline of the leaves with 3 D Outliner Glitter Black 415. • Let it dry completely. • Take an incense stick and burn out the fabric from a few leaves to get the cutwork effect. (you can also use a cutwork pen/ gun for the same process).
STEP 3 : Painting the leaves and roses
• Paint the rest leaves and the bunches of the roses in shading effect using Fabric Colours Black 202, Crimson 204, Maroon214, Pink 218, White 227 and Coral Red 266. • Leave it to dry completely.
