Cushion Covers With One Stroke

You Will Need:
Fevicryl Fabric Colours White 227, Teal Blue 268, Fine Art Brushes, Plain Cushion Covers, Colour Palette, Water Container, OHP Sheet.

STEP 1 : Sourcing the base
• Take the plain grey cushion covers; cotton or silk cushion covers are the best for fabric painting.
STEP 2 : Loading the brush for one stroke painting
• Take Fabric Colours Teal Blue 268 and White 227 in the palette.
• Take the flat brush and load the brush with two shades.
• Ensure that the two shades will mix well in to one another using the loaded brush on OHP sheet. ( Watch the above link for more details on loading and blending)
• Paint the one stroke flower with shades of two colours.
STEP 3 : Painting bunches of flowers
• Create the bunch of Chinese roses in one stroke style with leaves in the centre of the cushion covers.
• Leave it to dry.
• Paint the border of the cushions with Fabric Colour Teal Blue 268. Let it dry and cure for 7 days.
