STEP 1 : Mixing Fevicryl Mouldit

• We are going to make a moon and star platter with Mouldit for the festival of Eid. • Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

STEP 2 : Roll the dough

• Take the dough, roll it to make a medium thin slab with a rolling pin. • Let the slab get semi dry.

STEP 3 : Cut the shapes

• Mark and cut the crescent moon attached with star out of the slab. • Make the edges on the shapes approximately ½” broad strip to give it a look of platter using Fabric Glue for sticking. • Let it dry.

STEP 4 : Paint the base

• Paint the moon and star platter with Acrylic Colour White 27. • Let it dry completely.

STEP 5 : Finish the platter

• Paint the platter with the light shade of Acrylic Colour White 27, Violet 25 and Pearl Metallic Gold 352. • Take a newspaper; crumple it. Use the same to paint a crumple effect texture on the platter with the darker shade of the violet. • Let it dry completely.
