Butterfly On Canvas
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, Orange 17, White 27, Hobby Ideas Glass Colours – Water Based, Fine Art Brushes, Fine Art Canvas Board 8
Description :

STEP 1
Mix Shilpkar Resin Base and Hardener into an even white dough
Leave it for 10 min to harden a bit
STEP 2
Colour the fine art canvas board with a base coat of Acrylic Colour - Chrome Yellow
You may give two coats for an even look
Leave it to dry
STEP 3
Draw a Plumeria (Champa) flower with leaves and a butterfly very lightly with a pencil on the canvas
STEP 4
Take the Shilpkar dough and roll it into thin, long and even coils
Outline the butterfly with these Shilpkar coils to bring them in relief
Also make the antennas and the body of the butterfly
Leave it to dry
STEP 5
Colour the Shilpkar coils and the antennas of the butterfly in Acrylic Colour - Black
The body of the butterfly is coloured in Acrylic Colour - Burnt Sienna
Leave it to dry
Colour the plumeria flower in the shades of White, Lemon Yellow, and Orange
The background of the flower is coloured lightly in a yellowish green colour to denote the leaves
Leave it to dry
STEP 6
Fill in the glass colours of your choice to colour the butterfly
We have used red and black colour here.
