You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Orange 17, Pink 18, White 27, Neon Pink 018, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Plain Glass Bottles, A3 White Paper, Yellow Carbon Paper, Pencil, Square Glass Mirrors, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container

Ikat is a traditional technique of dyeing of strands of fabric and making a pattern with them. The same beautiful pattern has been replicated on these twin bottles with vibrant Fevicryl Acrylic Colours and have been enhanced with mirrors.
STEP 1 : Draw and transfer the design
- We are going to paint the bottles with ikat design, and we are going to decorate the design by sticking the glass mirrors around the pattern.
- Take A3 white paper, draw the diamond design from ikat pattern in the size of the periphery of the bottle on it. Make 2 different designs
- Take plain glass bottles.
- Paint the bottles with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
- Let it dry.
- Trace the ikat design on the bottles with yellow carbon paper.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 2 : Paint the design
- Paint the design with Acrylic Colours Acrylic Colour Burnt Sienna 01, Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, Orange 17, Pink 18, White 27 and Neon Pink 018.
- Let it dry.
STEP 3 : Add Mirrors
- Enhance the ikat diamond design by sticking the square mirrors around the painted motif using Fabric Glue.
- Let it dry.
- Paint the upper side of the bottle towards the mouth of the bottle with Acrylic Colour Chrome Yellow 03, Neon Pink 018 and White 27
- Let it dry completely.
