You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Golden Yellow 09, White 27, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, A4 White Paper, Ruler, Corrugated box Flap, Foam Sheet, Pencil, Paper Cutter, Scissors, Colour Palette, Water Container

Description :
Block printing is a very popular technique of painting on Fabric. Why not try it on walls when it can give such brilliant results!


STEP 1 : Make a design
• First we are going to make a block with a foam sheet. • Take the Gateway Paper, mark and cut the rectangle measuring 2 ½” x 5” in size. • Draw two 4 petal flower on it in a 2 ½” x 2 ½” square. • Refer to the image.
STEP 2 : Making the block
• Draw/ Trace the same design on the foam sheet. • Cut the flower design using a paper cutter – one with negative area discarded. • Take the corrugated box flap in the same size as of the size of foam sheet, stick the foam sheet flower on the corrugated rectangle using Fabric Glue. • Let it dry completely. • Refer to the image to see how your block will look like.
STEP 3 : Printing on the wall
• Take the flower design block and paint it on the wall using the shade of yellow made by mixing Acrylic Colour Golden Yellow 09 and White 27 in repetitive manner. • Leave it to dry.
