Baubles Chocolate Box
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Leaf Green 62, Sky Blue 63, Fevicryl Water Based Glass Colours (Tomato Red, Sea Blue, Crystal Green, Golden Yellow), Fevicryl 3 D Outliner White 707, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Rolling Pin, Clay Carving Tools, Paper Cutter, Pencil, Ruler, Colour Palette, Water Container
Description :
Christmas is all about the holiday spirit and here is the best way to get into the spirit by making some handmade baubles. They are so adorable and will make for an ideal gifting box too.
STEP 1 : Mix Mouldit
- We are going to make the Chocolate box in baubles shape using Mouldit.
- Take the Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.
STEP 2 : Roll the dough
- Take the dough roll it to make medium thin slab with a rolling pin.
STEP 3 : Make the boxes
- Mark and cut 2 circles for the base measuring3” diameter, 2 for the lids measuring 31/2” diameter and broad strip of 2” size.
- Attach the broad strip to the base using Fabric Glue.
- Mark and cut ½ broad strip for the lid.
- Stick the ½” broad strip to the lid with Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
STEP 4 : Paint the base
- Make 3 such Baubles shaped boxes.
- Paint the boxes with the base coat of Acrylic Colour White 27.
- Let it dry.
STEP 5 : Draw the design
- Draw the simple design like the gift boxes, the snowflake design and the x’mas trees on the lid of the boxes.
- Refer to the image.
STEP 6 : Paint the design
- Paint the boxes with Acrylic Colour Crimson 04, Dark Green 06, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Leaf Green 62, Sky Blue 63, Water Based Glass Colours Tomato Red, Sea Blue, Crystal Green, Golden Yellow and 3 D Outliner White 707.
- Leave it to dry.
STEP 7 : The Final look
- Your boxes with chocolates for gifting on X’mas will look like this.
