You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Black 02, White 27, Fevicryl Acrylic Colours Pearl Metallic Gold 352, Pearl Metallic Bronze 355, Fevicryl Mouldit, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Natural Wood Round Tray, A3 White Paper, White Carbon Paper, Clay Carving Tools, Rolling Pin, Paper Cutter, Pencil, Colour Palette, Water Container

Description :

Festivities usher loads of opportunity for us to do something different and classy like this project. Make this remarkable t-lite holder by using Fevicryl Mouldit and by following the steps below.

STEP 1 : Source the base

We are going to make a Mouldit hand as the tealite holder with Alpona design below in natural wood tray.
Take the Natural wood round shaped tray measuring approximately 9” diameter.

STEP 2 : Transfer the design on the base

Paint the inner base of the tray with the base coat of Acrylic Colour Black 02.
Let it dry.
Take an A3 white paper, draw the circular Alpona design in the size of the inner circle of wood tray.
Trace the same design on the painted tray base with white carbon paper.
Refer to the image.

STEP 3 : Paint the design

Paint the design with Acrylic Colours White 27 Pearl Metallic Gold 352 and Pearl Metallic Bronze 355.
Leave it to dry.

STEP 4 : Mix Mouldit

We are going to make the hand as holder with Mouldit.
Take Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make even dough.

STEP 5 : Roll Mouldit into a slab

Take the dough, roll it to make a medium thin slab with a rolling pin.
Let the slab get semi dry.

STEP 6 : Cut the shape of a hand

Mark and cut the shape of the hand till the wrist line from the slab.

STEP 7 : Giving the shape to the hand

Make a depression in the center of the hand while the clay is pliable. Turn the fingers upwards.
Finish the edges with polish paper.
Let the hand dry completely.

STEP 8 : Make a t-lite

Take some clay to make the t-lite holder base of the clay like this, we have made.
Leave it to dry completely.

STEP 9 : Make a stand

Take some clay to make a small stand further to attach the hand on it.
Attach and stick the stand of clay in the centre of the wooden tray using Fabric Glue. Let it dry.
Paint the stand with Pearl Metallic Bronze 355.
Leave it to dry.

STEP 10 : Assembly

Paint the hand and the t-lite holder of the clay with Acrylic Colour Pearl Metallic Gold 352 and Bronze 355.
Let it dry.
Stick the t- lite holder base on the hand as well as stick the hand on the stand with little amount of the clay and Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry completely.

STEP 11 : Final look

Your hand T-lite holder is ready.
