how to do it yourself

STEP 1

Take hardboard, work on the rough side of the board as it will give the required texture to the mural.
Draw the design using black marker.

STEP 2

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.

STEP 3

Take shilpkar dough and make triangles for body, thin coils for hands and legs, small flat balls for head and very tiny balls for buns.
Stick the shapes as per the design using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.
Similarly make the trees, leaves, musical instrument, etc from the shilkar dough and stick on the design.
Leave to harden.

STEP 4

Paint the board completely using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black.
Leave to dry.

STEP 5

Sponge dab the board using Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Copper.
Leave to dry.

STEP 6

Mix Fevicryl Metallic Powder- Gold and Silver with Fevicryl Medium.
Sponge dab gold and silver colour on the figures to highlight them
Leave to dry.

STEP 7

Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look.
Leave to dry.

Fevicryl Shilpkar,Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black 02,Fevicryl Pearl metallic Colour- Copper 353,Fevicryl Metallic Powder- Gold 08, Silver 20,Fevicryl Medium,Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue,Fine Art Brushes,Palette. Hardboard / MDF board, Talcum powder, Design, Sponge, Pencil / marker pen.
