how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Paint the MDF using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Indian Red.
Leave to dry.

STEP 2:-

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.

STEP 3:-

Draw the design on the MDF.
Apply little Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the design – hut, warli figures, bullocks, sun, etc (part by part). Shape and stick shilpkar dough on it.
Roll shilpkar dough in thin coils and stick to make bullock cart and tree. Refer picture.
To make border, roll shilpkar dough in thick long coil. Flatten the coil and stick it on border using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Make lines and dots using paper cutter and toothpick.
Leave to harden.

STEP 4:-

Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look.
Leave to dry.

Fevicryl Shilpkar,Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Indian Red 10, Chrome Yellow 03, Lemon Yellow 11, White 27,Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue,Fine Art Brushes,Palette. MDF, Talcum powder, Paper cutter, Toothpick, Pencil.
