how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Draw or trace the design on the MDF.

STEP 2:-

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.

STEP 3:-

Apply Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the face and upper body area of the design. Take Shilpkar dough and spread it on that area. Shape it as face and body using fingers. Make eyes, ears, nose and lips of Shilpkar dough and stick on the face.

STEP 4:-

Take Shilpkar dough and roll it in thin long coil. Stick this coil using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue and shape with fingers to make the hands, legs, neck, stick, necklace and rope.

STEP 5:-

Similarly take Shilpkar dough and make turban, jacket, skirt, belt and basket. Mark inner detail lines using paper cutter.
Leave to harden.

STEP 6:-

Paint the background using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black.
Paint the tribal man using Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Silver, Gold, Copper, Rust and Green. Refer picture.
Leave to dry.

STEP 7:-

Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look.
Leave to dry.

Fevicryl Shilpkar Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour- Silver 351, Gold 352, Copper 353, Rust 354, Green 357 Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black 02 Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue Fine Art Brushes. MDF board Design Carbon paper Paper cutter Pencil.
