Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Light Green 12, Orange 17, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32, Sky Blue 63, Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Fine Art Brushes, Colour Palette, Water Container, White Pencil, Recycled Corrugated Box, 1 Meter Checkered Fabric, Scissors.

Description :
No more mess is what this handy toy box would help you do. It's basically made using a simple recycled corrugated box that has been prettily decorated and there you have a toy box ready for toys and soft toys to be neatly dumped into, rather than been strewned around. Teach children how to make this corrugated box into a toy basket. They can use their favourite motifs and patterns to make it personalised. This project is an apt cardboard craft for kids.
STEP 1
Take a recycled corrugated box measuring 18” x 12” in size to make a toy box
STEP 2
Take a 1 meter checkered fabric of your choice. Cut the fabric according to the size of your box. Make sure that when you cut the fabric it covers the entire box.
STEP 3
Cover the corrugated box by sticking the fabric to the box with Fabric Glue. Cut the fringes, where all the corners of the box and the fabric meet. Cut the fringes about 2” long in size. Tie the fringes to make the knots. Refer to the image.
STEP 4
Draw few alphabets along with their motifs like A stands for apple, C for carrot, F for fish, S for sun, H for heart randomly in the checks all over the covered box.
STEP 5
Paint the alphabets and the motifs with Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Chrome Yellow 03, Crimson 04, Light Green 12, Orange 17, White 27, Cerulean Blue 32 and Sky Blue 63. Let it dry. Your toy basket is ready and is a great toy organizer for convenience and a storage box for toys. Storage boxes for toys made of corrugated / cardboard boxes is an ideal best out of waste project for kids.
