You Will Need:

Fevicryl Acrylic Colours - Black 02, Dark Green 06, Lemon Yellow 11, Light Green 12, White 27, Square - MDF Wooden Placemat, I Clay In Assorted Colours, Pencil, Scale

Description :

This cute little townscape is made using colourful I Clay. Its made by using the basic techniques of forming clay by making shapes like spheres, cylinders and squares. You can use these basic shapes to create many other forms and explore the possibilities and enjoy creating in clay

 

STEP 1
Take a square MDF wooden placemat Draw a curvy road in the middle of the placemat
STEP 2
Colour the road grey made by mixing Acrylic Colours - Black and White Colour a thick dotted line in the centre of the road for the divider using Acrylic - White Outline the road with Acrylic - White
STEP 3
Colour the areas around the road in Acrylic Colour - Light Green, you may mix a bit of Lemon Yellow to make it still lighter Give small brush strokes in shades of green made by mixing Acrylic Colours - Dark Green, Lemon Yellow, Light Green
STEP 4
Take I Clay in the colours of your choice Make small and big pebbles in light and dark grey shades by mixing Black and White clay and place them on the sides of the road as seen in the image
STEP 5
The houses are made using the clay in the colours of your choice Take I Clay and roll it into a medium sized ball (lemon size) Make it little squarish Add windows, doors and a roof to make it into a house You can make two or three storied houses by placing different coloured squares one on top of the other and then adding the doors, windows and the roof
