Tiger In The Jungle

This cute tiger wall frame is made using the mixed media technique. It can be fun and as well as a learning activity for a child where he or she is cutting, folding, painting and creating a wall frame for his or her room

how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Take a canvas board measuring about 8 x 10 inches in size
Give a base coat of Acrylic Colour - Green on the canvas, you may sponge dab the colour

STEP 2:-

Take a jute cord and wind it neatly around the canvas board. Refer to the image
Sponge dab Acrylic Colour - Light Green on the jute cord
Leave it to dry

STEP 3:-

Cut the leaves from the green coloured papers in different sizes the biggest size being 2 inches long and the rest proportionately smaller

STEP 4:-

Fold each leaf in the centre and further fanfold it diagonally

STEP 5:-

Draw a tiger on a yellow coloured paper and colour the strips using Acrylic Colour - Black and the eyes with Black and White
Leave it to dry
Cut out the tiger

STEP 6:-

Arrange and stick the tiger and the leaves on the canvas with jute cord

STEP 7:-

You may hang the picture on the wall with a jute cord tied on the rear side for hanging

Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - Black 02, Light Green 12, White 27, Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, Fevicol MR. Fine Art Canvas Board, Thick A4 Sized Coloured Papers (Shades of green and yellow) ,Pencil, Ruler, Scissors, Jute Cord, Sponge
