STEP 1 : Source the base material

Take any plain prewashed terracotta jar. We are going to make textures and patterns on the jar with surface ornamentation technique.

STEP 2 : Paint the base coat

Paint the jar with a base coat of Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Black 02. Let it dry.

STEP 3 : Creating textures

Create texture on some parts of the jar with a mixture of white cement and Fevicol MR. Take a plastic bowl, pour the white cement and Fevicol MR in it, mix both ingredients well into a smooth paste. Create the texture on the jar towards the bottom side area with your hands. Let it dry.

STEP 4 : Mouldit work on the Jar

Make coil texture and leaves near the mouth of the jar using Fevicryl Mouldit. Take Fevicryl Mouldit resin base and hardener, mix it thoroughly to make an even dough. Take the dough, roll it to make the coils from it. Let the coils get semi dry. Similarly make a few leaves and stick the coils and the leaves on the jar using Fevicryl Fabric Glue. Let it dry.

STEP 5 : Paint the jar

Paint the jar with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour Sparkling Pearl Golden Green 911 and Pearl Metallic Ggold 352. Let it dry completely.
