how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Clean the glass bottle.

STEP 2:-

Apply a thin coat of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.
Immediately apply a thin layer of Fevicryl Terracotta Primer.
Leave to dry.

STEP 3:-

Sponge dab the bottle using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Ultramarine Blue + White and White.
Leave to dry.

STEP 4:-

Take Fevicryl Shilpkar, mix the resin base and hardener evenly to form even dough.
You may sprinkle little talcum powder on your hands to avoid sticking.

STEP 5:-

Take shilpkar dough and roll it in thin long coils. Wind this coil around the neck and on other areas in circular pattern. Stick them using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.

STEP 6:-

Take shilpkar dough and shape it as sunflower petals.
Stick the petals on the bottle to form a sunflower using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.
Stick a shilpkar ball in centre of the flower and prick it with back side of a brush to give pollen texture.

STEP 7:-

To make stem, take shilpkar dough and roll it in a thick coil. Stick it as stem using Fevicryl no Stitch Fabric Glue.

STEP 8:-

To make leaves, take shilpkar dough and shape it as leaves. Mark the vein lines using paper cutter. Stick the leaves on bottle using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.

STEP 9:-

Paint the flower using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Orange and Lemon Yellow.
Paint the stem, leaves and coils using Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Lemon Yellow and Light Green.
Leave to dry.

STEP 10:-

Apply 2-3 coats of Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue on the whole piece to get a glossy look.
Leave to dry.
