You Will Need:
Fevicryl Acrylic Colour - White 27, Fine Art Brushes, Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, Colour Palette. Water Container, Pencil, Ruler, Scissors, Felt cloth in assorted colours, Ornamental Stones
Description :
This ready star shaped box is decorated with felt cloth and colours and is further embellished with ornamental stone to give a glittery look.
STEP 1
Take a star shaped cardboard gift box
You may take any other shape of your choice or recycle the unused boxes in the house
STEP 2
Take a felt cloth in red, yellow and green colours or in the choice of your colours
STEP 3
The flowers are made in red felt
Draw a circle of about 4 inches in diameter
Cut the circle spirally towards the centre
STEP 4
Cut one edge of the spiral in to a scalloped edge
STEP 5
The leaves are cut in 2 - 3 sizes in green felt
STEP 6
Cut the yellow felt in the exact star shape and a long strip to put on the sides of the lid of the box
Use a sharp pair of scissors to cut the felt to get the finished edges
Stick the cut shapes on the lid of the box using No Stitch Fabric Glue
STEP 7
Colour the scalloped edges of the flower in white outlines with Acrylic Colour - White
STEP 8
The flower buds are cut into a petal shape, with white outlines and is rolled into a cone
STEP 9
To make the flower, start rolling the spiral from the centre. You may stick each layer using a No Stitch Fabric Glue
The buds are rolled into a conical shape
Arrange and stick the flowers and the leaves in the centre of the lid of the box
Leave it to dry
STEP 10
Outline the leaves in Acrylic Colour - White
Stick white ornamental stones around the central arrangment of the flowers and the leaves and also on the edges so that it hides the edges of the patch
Leave it to dry.
