You Will Need:

STEP 1
Take a white plain paper.
Draw a square measuring 12" x 12" in size.
Draw a design from the traditional Persian art form on it, which can be easily used for cutwork.
STEP 2
Take a fine art canvas sheet measuring 12" x 12" in size.
Trace the square design on the canvas sheet with yellow carbon paper.
STEP 3
Cut out the design with a paper cutter to give a jali effect.

STEP 4
Paint the jali design in the shading technique using Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours Pearl - Turquoise Blue 520, Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours Sparkling Pearl - Dark Blue 704 and Golden Green 711.
Outline the jali design with Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Glitter - Zardozi Gold 508.
Let it dry.
STEP 5
Take a fine art canvas board measuring 12" x 12" in size.
Take a red coloured half meter polycot fabric and cover the canvas board with it using Fabric Glue.
STEP 6
Stick the painted jali design on the fabric covered canvas using Fabric Glue.
Enhance the design by sticking few ornamental stones with Fabric Glue.
STEP 7
Take the white plain paper.
Draw a square measuring 18" x 18" in size.
Take a few motifs from traditional Persian art form and create a border design.
Draw a border design by leaving a 12" x 12" square in the centre.

STEP 8
Take a fine art canvas sheet measuring 18" x 18" size.
Trace the border design on the canvas sheet with yellow carbon paper.
Cut the border design with a paper cutter to make the jali effect.

STEP 9
Paint the cutwork border design of the canvas sheet in the shaded technique with Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours Pearl - Turquoise Blue, Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours Sparkling Pearl - Dark Blue and Golden Green.
STEP 10
Take a canvas board measuring 18" x 18" in size.
Sponge dab the canvas in a shading manner with Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours Pearl - Turquoise Blue and Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours Sparkling Pearl - Dark Blue.
Let it dry.
STEP 11
Stick the painted cutwork design appropriately on both the canvas boards with Fabric Glue.
Leave it to dry.
STEP 12
Take a 12" x 12" sized canvas board with red fabric.
Stick the small sized board on the bigger board with Fabric Glue.
Paint the outline of the cutwork design of the bigger canvas with Fevicryl Liquid Embroidery Glitter - Zardozi Gold.
Leave it to dry.
Enhance the design of the bigger canvas by sticking few white coloured ornamental stones with Fabric Glue.
