Royal Jewellery Box
You Will Need:
Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, Cardboard, Fevibond, Velvet Cloth, Satin ribbons, Cotton cloth, Drafting NeeddleThread
Description :
This antique looking royal jewellery box is a good gift to be given on special occasions. Especially it being hand made renders a personal and can be used to put in small trinkets
STEP 1
Take a wooden decoupage jewellery box
Give a base coat of black to the box and the lid of the box
You may give two coats for an even look
Leave it to dry
STEP 2
Take a paper with a Taj Mahal print or any other print of your choice
Cut the print in the size of the lid of the box
STEP 3
Apply Fevicryl Modge Podge evenly on the rear side of the paper with a soft flat brush
Stick the paper on the lid pressing from the centre towards the edges taking care that no air bubbles are left behind
STEP 4
When you apply the Fevicryl Modge Podge it will appear creamy and opaque but will dry clear even if there is a little thick layer left around
Leave it to dry
STEP 5
Sponge dab some Pearl Desert Gold and Pearl Metallic Copper on the black surface to give an antique look
