Quilled Wreath For Christmas
You Will Need:
Fevicryl Fabric Glue, Paper Quilling strips, Super Quiller, Slotted Quilling Tool, Embroidery Ring
Description :
To deck up your home for Christmas, here’s how you can make a wreath for your front door using the technique of quilling.
STEP 1
Work with the slotted quilling tool and the strips to make a variety of shapes which can be used later in the project to make various flowers for the Christmas Wreath.
STEP 2
To make a tight coil, use the slotted tool with the quilling strip and just rotate the needle such that a coil is formed. Apply glue to loose edge of the tight coil.
STEP 3
If you unmount the tight coil from the quilling tool and allow it to loosen out. Then, pinch the coil on two sides, you will achieve the following Eye-shape. Apply glue to loose edge of the coil.
STEP 4
On pushing the pinched edges of the Eye-shape towards opposite sides, a leaf as follows can be achieved. Apply glue to loose edge of the coil.
STEP 5
A number of flowers and floral arrangements can be created by using the various quilled shapes.
STEP 6
Use the embroidery ring as the base of the wreath. Use glue to arrange the shapes around the ring to make the Christmas wreath.
STEP 7
Once done, allow the glue to dry before using the wreath to decorate a part of the house.
