Upload Your Own CreationsThis pretty batwa is made out of a mithai cardboard tray. Use some Acrylic Colours, organza fabric, ornamental stones, pearls and wire to change its look into a lovely gift packaging pouch
Take a golden coloured tray or a recycled tray and colour it using Acrylic - Gold
Stick half cut pearls and lilac stones in a pattern of your choice on the borders leaving the areas on the four corners of the tray using No Stitch Fabric Glue
Let it dry
Measure the inner area of the tray and cut a piece of pink organza fabric with the height of about 10 inches and the width slightly bigger to make the gathers
Decorate the fabric by sticking pearls on it and then stick it on the inner side of the tray using No Stitch Fabric Glue
Leave it to dry
String in the pearls in the silver flower making wire on either ends
Make about 20 such wires to tie the batua
Gather the fabric and wind these wires around to create a ring
You may slide this ring up when you want to pack your gift inside
Cut 5 small petals for the flower from the fine art canvas sheet
You will need 4 such flowers
Paint these flowers with Acrylic Colours - White 27 and Sparkling Pearl Colour - Silver 910
Let them dry
Give a shading effect to the petals with Acrylic Colour - Violet 25
Leave it to dry
Join the petals overlapping each other as shown in the image
