Pongal is a festival of celebration the first harvest. Shymala Devi has created this mural to add the colour of this festival to your interiors.
Mix the Fevicryl Shilpkar Resin Base and Hardener to form even dough.
Wrap the TT ball with this dough to form a pot. Let it dry.
Further use dough to create the pouring rice over the pot. Let it dry.
Wrap the straws with another piece of dough to create the sugarcane shoots. Let it dry.
Use some more Fevicryl Shilpkar dough to form fruits. Let it dry.
Paint the pot with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Indian Red, Lemon Yellow and White and the sugarcane shoots with Light Green. Let it dry.
Clean the glass piece and draw a solar design on it.
Outline the design with Fevicryl Glass Outliner – Black. Let it dry.
Fill the design with Fevicryl Glass Colour –Solvent Based – Lemon Yellow and Orange. Let it dry.
Paint the wooden base with Fevicryl Acrylic Colour- Black. Let it dry.
Place the pot, glass, earthen diya’s and the sugarcane shoots on the wooden board to complete the mural.
