Lord Buddha is know for his calmness and serenity, we have tried to bring out the same calmness by using the technique of crumplimg paper and getting an antique look on the folder.

STEP 1

Take an A4 sized paper canvas and stick 2 layers of tissue papers by crumpling it a little while sticking with Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue, to create texture. Leave it to dry. After drying, paint the first coat using Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour - Gold 352.

STEP 2

Take an A4 sized white paper and draw the face of buddha. Paint the second coat by mixing Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colour - Black 202 and Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour - Gold 352. Leave it to dry. After drying, trace the face of buddha on the textured paper canvas using white carbon paper.

Paint the face of buddha using Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours Black 202 and Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Pearl Metallic Colour - Gold 352 respectively. Refer to the image

STEP 4

Take a readymade file folder and cover it with golden fabric and stick the ends using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue.

STEP 5

Take a twill tape and stick it on the paper canvas using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Make two such strips the size of the height of the folder as shown in the image. Draw a traditional geometrical pattern from the 7 different states (7 sisters) of India on it.

STEP 6

Paint the strips using Fevicryl Soft Acrylic Colours - Black 202 and Fevicryl Pearl Metallic Colour - Gold 352 respectively. Refer to the image.

STEP 7

Stick the painted buddha as well as the painted twill tape on the folder using Fevicryl No Stitch Fabric Glue. Refer to the image .
