This colour resist painting technique is a wonderful technique that can be used to create thick linear designs. The design patterns are drawn on the canvas using Fevicol MR which is then peeled off to reveal the canvas surface

how to do it yourself

STEP 1:-

Take 3 fine art canvas boards measuring 12” x 12” in size
Place the three canvases vertically one below the other

STEP 2:-

Peacock Feather  Resist Painting Technique - Step 2 | Hobbyideas

Draw a peacock feather motif in such a way that it stretches across the 3 canvases as a continuous pattern
Outline the feather using Fevicol MR
Leave it to dry completely

STEP 3:-

Sponge dab the canvases using Sparkling Pearl Colours - Golden Green 911, Dark Blue 904 and Emerald Green 908, respectively
Leave the colour to dry completely
Once the colour has dried, peel off the Fevicol MR from the canvas to get thick linear drawings of the peacock feather in white
