Upload Your Own CreationsThis garden made out of paper is created using a very basic technique of folding paper to bring it in relief and to make it look 3 dimensional. Just hang it on the walls or keep it as a table top decoration.
Take a placemat and colour it using Acrylic Colours - Orange, Chrome Yellow and White in gradation from base to top
Leave it to dry
To make the leaves take light and dark green coloured card papers
Cut leaves from the green paper in three different sizes, the biggest size being 2 inches long and proportionately wide
Fold each leaf into half and further fold it diagonally into a fanfold
Open the folds to get the leaf with the veins.
To make the flowers we will need yellow and orange coloured papers
Cut three different sized circles from the papers, the biggest one is of 2 inches in diameter
You will need two circles for each flower one big and one small in size
To make the flowers fold the circle into half
Fold it further two times to form a cone
Cut the straight top edge of the cone into a rounded shape like a petal
Open the folds to get the flower shape
Repeat the same for all the circles to make the flowers
To make the butterflies, we will need red and light green coloured papers
Cut circles in 3 different sizes and the biggest circle being 3 inches in diameter
The wings of the butterfly are made in the same way as the flowers
Cut the body of the butterflies in light brown coloured card paper in small, medium and big sizes as per the size of the wings of the butterfly
